fragrant, fresh, oaky. South Okanagan's Moon Curser specializes in a broad range of varieties, rarely seen in Canada.
Malbec is a more common find here but it tends to be far more savoury than those from Mendoza, however this version is quite lifted. Blackberry and plum, vanilla, licorice, baking spices and dried violets lead to a fresh palate. Fruit pops through on the entry and is mixed with spice, coffee and cocoa flavours. The tannins have texture and oak lingers across the finish; it's a wine to pair with roasted or grilled meats, hard cheeses, spaghetti Bolognese or hearty mushroom and herb risotto.
