slick, concentrated, aromatic.
At 170 years old, Yalumba is the oldest family owned winery in Australia, home to one of the largest viticulture nurseries and the only winery cooperage in the country.
Yalumba was also the first to commercially plant Viognier in the Barossa Valley in 1980 and for many wine lovers, this wine was their first taste of the Viognier variety.
It's a popular wine with a value price tag and suggests aromas of peach nectar, exotic spices, candied lemons, coconut and ginger biscuits, with orange blossoms and lime. It's juicy with notable concentration, a slick, spicy character underscored by flavours of stone fruits and lemon drops.
A delicious partner to spicy fish tacos or exotic Moroccan dishes.
