Zesty, classic, pristine.
Fermented and aged (maturation was 6 months) in stainless, foudre and neutral barrique, don't expect this Sauvignon Blanc to be anything like what you would expect from Marlborough. It's definitely Old World leaning with a BC backbone.
Mineral notes dominate; wet stone and oyster shell along with green apple, crunchy unripe peaches, flint, honey and lemongrass. It's a zesty wine with a piquant layer and flavours of crunchy tree fruits and citrus. It has a slight slick creaminess on the tongue, a pristine character and freshness in spades.
