Fragrant, outstanding, woven.
Titon Vineyard, the first to be planted in the modern wave of viticulture in Chile's most northerly winegrowing region, Elqui, rests 18km inland from Pacific at 350m and is comprised of stony soils warmed by plenty of sunlight.
An outstanding Syrah with aromas of spiced plum and blackberry, white pepper, chocolate and espresso, black licorice and dry earth. It has a sweet entry boasting sweet red berry and blackberry flavours woven with vanilla, violets and spice. Excellent bones, wonderfully woven, lengthy and balanced.
