Grown on the Golden Mile Bench in a low-yielding block of 15-year-old vines, this partial barrel and stainless fermented Chardonnay went through full ML and was lees weekly stirred as it matured for 10 months.
Candied lemon peel and applesauce, golden tropical fruits, vanilla, honey and chalky aromas lead to a fresh but toasted palate. Lemon, spice, nuts and oak flavours dominate; it has a slick texture. Pair: creamy soups and sauces, smoked cheeses, halibut in lemon butter sauce, lobster mac & cheese or grilled chicken
