Bright, oaky, toasted.
This pale onion-skin blush is made from estate Pinot Noir and Gamay grown in the new sub-GI of Okanagan Falls (designated last year) where Stag's Hollow is located. Aromas of toasted spices, peach stone, charred orange peel, cedar, vanilla and spring blossoms are deeply underscored by oaky notes. Oak plays a dominant role on the palate as well, but the acid is bright and the finish mouthwatering.
Recommended with: white meats, cream sauces, mushroom dishes, popcorn, corn chowder, crab, fish with lemon cream sauce, lobster with butter.
