Woven, fresh, creamy.
The Couvent des Jacobins Chardonnay hails from the Cote d'Or and Maconnais; it is aged partially in oak and the rest in stainless steel.
Expect attractive notes of Jonagold apple and hazelnuts, lemon wax and straw, wet stone and acacia, which lead to a palate that is fresh with a slick weight. Creamy yellow fruit, nuts and sweet spice flavours dominate on this vintage. Wonderfully woven and fresh.
Pair: White meats and oily fish, soft-medium cheeses and creamy soups and pastas.
