Wine Glass Writer
Okay, full disclosure, I'm not one for wine baubles and trinkets.
Saying that, the Wine Glass Writer can be a useful tool.
If you're having a party, for example. Allowing your guests to personalize their wine glasses offers a little conversational creativity and prevents the awkward, "Is that yours, or mine?".
Alternatively, if you are hosting a blind tasting. It's a good way to number or differentiate the wines from one another.
Basically, you pop the lid off one of the assorted coloured pens (I received pink, purple, silver, green and gold) and let your inner artist free.
You can draw/write on the side of the glass or the base it's up to you.
Just keep in mind, if your white is chilled and there is any condensation on the glass, the ink will run if it's not set.
So, if it's a red, you are pretty much in the clear but if it is a white chilled wine (and is in the glass already), write above the wine pour line or on the base. It does set nicely, so give it one-to-three minutes once your masterpiece, or name is signed.
Later, warm water and soap will remove the ink nicely.
The developers of Wine Glass Writer have done a remarkable job of marketing their products to celebrities, television personalities and wine journalists and note the product can also be used on glazed ceramics and mirrors.
