Once again this abundantly perfumed wine from Hillside arrives in time for your summer sipping enjoyment.
Pretty honey and tangerine aromas, white grape-y notes and lime oil, orchard blossoms and exotic spice. Nicely weighted on the palate - juicy apple peel, citrus and stone fruit flavours with suitably balanced acidity.
Pair with fresh and spicy noodle salads.

The Old Vines Gamay Noir is made from vines over 20 years old - which may not be old in the grand plan but for BC it's fairly old.
It will impress you with its smoked cherry, savoury "garrigue" aromas, intriguing mineral notes and a hint of raspberry? Medium-bodied, showing fresh red fruit, earth, leather, white pepper, savoury flavours with oak spice and bitter-sweet chocolate on the finish.

This old vines Gamay Noir comes from Hillside's 25 year old estate vineyard.
Its a savoury wine with smoked, meaty aromas, plush wild berries, chocolate and espresso with minty/herbal undertones. Expect a creamy entry on the palate, it has plenty of bright acidity perfect for food pairing, and layers of purple fruit, mocha and toasted oak. Fine tannins cling to the finish and flavours of spice and coffee linger.
This is wine that will pair with fattier meat and fowl dishes or dense vegetable stews.
