'The Beach House' Sauvignon Blanc~Semillon, Western Cape South Africa, 2009
Readers rated this wine:
Very good value!
This fresh, light Sauvignon Blanc has peachy hints with citrus, sweet grass and a hint of vanilla on the nose. The palate has a slightly vivace tickle with nice crisp white fruit and citrus flavours. A simple sipper for the patio or pair with fresh shellfish and summer salads.

Anna de Codorniu Brut Cava Spain, NV
Readers rated this wine:

A traditional method sparkling wine made with Chardonnay and the classic white Cava grape Parellada.
Cava consistently over-delivers for the price and this Anna de Codorniu is a perfect example.
It has a lovely fruity and floral nose offering sweet melon, pear and orangeblossom with a fine talc undertone. The palate is fresh and clean, it engages with a persistent mousse followed by a mouth-watering and zesty finish. It has impressive tension and elegance for the price and is perfect for solo sipping or paired with any fresh appetizers or salty snacks!

Aya 'Charming', Alentejo Portugal, 2010
Readers rated this wine:

Charming it is, and approachable.
This blend of (mostly indigenous Portuguese varietals) Castelao, Trincadera and Aragones with a splash of Cabernet Sauvignon offers aromas of chocolate covered cherries, plum pudding, baking spices, sweet smoke and vanilla. The palate is both supple and chewy with juicy fruit and a savoury undertone that will work well with roasted meats or rich tomato sauces.

Babich Black Label Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough New Zealand, 2011
Readers rated this wine:

Pungent aromas of passionfruit and guava, sweet pineapple chunks, lemon and capsicum with wild nettle, herbs and citrus. The palate has a wonderful weight and creamy texture, here the tropical fruit pops on your tongue highlighted with the spicy, verdant capsicum and citrus peel. Excellent length and vibrancy - very chic.
Partially barrel fermented to add depth and roundness.
Pair with Asian-inspired cuisines, spinach saag paneer or white fish topped in spicy fruit salsa.

Babich East Coast Pinot Noir, New Zealand, 2008
Readers rated this wine:
A juicy Pinot Noir with primary red fruit aromas - cranberry and sour cherry, fine pepper and cigarbox, a hint of violets and undertones of savoury herbs and green olive. The palate is fresh with good berry/cherry flavours, toasted spice and cedar. Nice complexity, lively acidity and a silky texture.
