Renaissance

2nd Crossing Long Creek Red, Okanagan Valley BC, 2008
Readers rated this wine:
Twisted Tree's second label is named for the winery's location, found at the second crossing of Long Creek and Highway 3 just east of Osoyoos. And like Long Creek, this wine will only flow in some years.
The aromas are dark and earthy - plums, black berries and dark chocolate with spice and hints of marzipan. The wine is smooth on the palate with sunbaked earth, black fruit, wild herbs and peppery spices. Very nice structure and balanced acidity with a firm finish.
Nice complexity - well done!

Arabella Cabernet Sauvignon, Robertson South Africa, 2006
Readers rated this wine:
Rich and ripe on the nose - mulberry and currents, smoky plums and earth, woodsy/undergrowth aromas, sweet tobacco and spices. In the mouth - silky and lush with dark fruits, chocolate and coffee - a warm spiced mouthful with a lovely linger...

Arabella Sauvignon Blanc, Robertson South Africa, 2007
Readers rated this wine:
Vibrant pomelo citrus and honey aromas, lime zest and white blossoms on the nose. Crisp and fresh on the palate, lemons and minerals, soft acidity rather than sharp and bracing with delicate fruit flavours.
Very nice!

Arabella Sauvignon Blanc, Robertson South Africa, 2010
Readers rated this wine:

A tangy Sauvignon, with jalapeno, nettle and very green/grassy aromas linked to citrus, gooseberry and passion fruit. The palate echoes the nose - jalapeno, nettle and citrus dominate - the finish is long and mouth-watering.
A wine to pair with arugula salads, shellfish or fresh asparagus and chevre tarts.
Nice value

Arabella Shiraz, South Africa, 2007
Readers rated this wine:
Plush black fruit aromas - plums and blackberries - spiced cocoa, hints of floral and rubber/smoky hints often found in South African Shiraz....The palate shows the same black fruits, bittersweet chocolate and spices, it's fresh, youthful and the tannins are smooth.
Good value.
