Aromas of smoky plums, blackberries, vanilla and cocoa with an earthy/savoury core. A somewhat brooding and dark wine with sweet and earthy flavours of black fruit and plums, chocolate and espresso. Chewy in the mouth, succulent and structured.

With the help of Alberto Antonini, this Lujan de Cuyo estate was launched in the mid-90s and the winery and cellar were completed in 2001.
There are plenty of black berries and plums here that are fully anchored by savoury aromas - smoked sausage, sunbaked earth and peppery spice rub. The palate echoes the aromas - succulent meaty, spicey, char-grill flavours rounded out with black fruit. This wine is brawny, you can almost chew it, yet it has a deceivingly smooth weight.
Savoury Argentinean wine = roasted or grilled meat, but a hearty mushroom ravioli is wonderful too.

These adorable cello wrapped 200 ml bottles of Prosecco belie the history of the ancient Spinato estate. The land has been growing wine grapes since the 12th century where it was made by monks of the Sant' Andrea Abby.
It is a fun, floral-scented bubbly with very fruity aromas of pears and apples layered with fine floral talc notes and sweet citrus. Sweet pear flavours dance across your palate - it is fresh and light, bright and juicy and only 11% alcohol!

Sweet cherries, creamy red berries, dried fruit and leather aromas with plum and toffee undertones. Rich and supple on the palate, savoury hints, ripe red fruit and oak spice on the finish.
Track this one down and take it home to enjoy!

An indigenous varietal from the Island of Sardinia - Nuragus creates this lush creamy wine that oozes tropical fruit - pineapple, mango and creme caramel with undertones of spice. Ripe fruit returns on the palate with exotic flowers, honey and deft oak flavours on the finish.
Very nice paired with soft or smoked cheeses.
