Giesen Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough New Zealand, 2008
Readers rated this wine:
This crisp, zippy New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc releases obvious grassy and gooseberry aromas with citrus peel, a hint of passionfruit and flinty minerality. Tart fruit and herbal flavours lead the palate followed citrus and gooseberry. Fresh and snappy with a clean finish. Pair with asparagus and goat cheese crostini or arugula and nettle salads. ©copyright 2010 Daenna Van Mulligen

Giesen Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough New Zealand, 2010
Readers rated this wine:
Nice value here, for a fresh and light Sauvignon. It leads with bright guava, gooseberry and citrus with undertones of snap peas, nettles and green beans. The palate follows suit with capsicum, herbs and citrus peel flavours. It's light in body but has an appealing crisp finish. Pair with summer salads in light herbal dressings, delicate seafood dishes or simple, fresh appetizers.
