At only 7% alcohol this could be considered a bit of a breakfast wine.
I love this job!
Its uber pinky-red and pretty!! Okay it tastes like sweet tarts-but not nearly as sweet as I expected not not nearly as mouss-y either. Smells like candied strawberries and candied rockets (rolled Hallowe'en chalk candy). Tastes light clean and sweetish, like a valentines kiss (except I'm drinking it in October) with sporadic bubbles and a long strawberry cinnamon-y finish.
Highly underrated and good clean fun!

Wine Diva was frightfully disappointed to hear that the quantities of Gewurztraminer were significantly reduced this vintage, but hopefully that's only this year. Just make sure to get your fill early! Wild honey, delicate floral notes, fresh orchard fruits and sweet spice. On the palate it is smooth, just off-dry with an oily texture and loads of citrus-y grapefruit flavours.

When you speak of value for money the Calona Pinot Noir is always a solid wine choice--there never seems to be enough of those.
Sour red fruit--cranberry, cherry and rhubarb--woodsy, composte aromas and cocoa hints. A leaner older-world styled Pinot with juicy red fruit, tobacco and leather flavours with a soft, spiced cedar finish.

The sole BC producer of this rare hybrid grape variety, Calona would probably create riots among fans if they ever stopped making it! Truly aromatic with super-ripe aromas of honey and stone fruit with a scented daub of white flowers. Smooth, rounded and slightly oily on the palate with earthy-honeyed, grapefruit and warm spiced flavours.

The popularity of un-oaked Chardonnays has created a separate "un-oaked" " category quickly filling up with these crisper versions demanded by people who love the clean flavours of the Chardonnay fruit without clouding it with oak flavour. Lovely upfront fruit aromas, ripe stone fruit, minerals and tropical fruit tones. Smooth on the palate with sweet orchard fruit, orange zest and grapefruit flavours followed by a long clean finish.
