D'Angelo Estate Winery 'Sette Coppa' Okanagan Valley BC, NV
Readers rated this wine:

D'Angelo is a family estate winery on the Naramata Bench and Sette Coppa stands for "Seven Measures' the nickname of the owner's Great Grandfather. This wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Malbec, it was then aged for 18 months in oak barrels.
Aromas of bruised fruit - apples, plums and berries with treacle, leather and tawny port notes. There is plenty of acidity and powdery tannins - similar flavours of cherries, spice and red plums appear on the palate.

D'Angelo Estate Winery Merlot~Cabernet, Okangan Valley BC, 2006
Readers rated this wine:

The D'Angelo estate is located on the Naramata Bench near Penticton.
This red blend offers tart red plums and mixed berry fruit aromas, spice rub and celery salt aromas with hints of cocoa and anise. The palate is medium-bodied, it is a leaner style of wine, and the flavours echoes the aromas with tobacco, sweet anise and cinnamon flavours.
It is a 2006 vintage, so it has some age on it and the tannins are fully integrated.

Readers rated this wine:

D'Angelo is a family owned and operated winery on the Naramata Bench outside of Penticton.
There is plenty of white pepper and dried herbal notes with coffee, stewed cherries, saddle leather and cigar aromas. The palate follows suit with bruised berry and red cherry flavours, cedar and cocoa with lingering spice and espresso.

Howling Bluff 'Three Mile Wines' Pinot Noir, Naramata Bench, 2009
Readers rated this wine:

Howling Bluff Estate Winery makes the Summa Quies (I recently reviewed and praised) Pinot Noir as well as this Three Mile Wines Stone Hill Vineyard Pinot Noir.
At first nose, it offers fresh and fragrant aromas - raspberry and red cherry, crushed violets and cedar chips; secondary aromas are warm spice and rainforest floor. That appealing juicy freshness also comes through on the palate - berries, spice and cigarbox lead to cocoa finish. The tannins are firm but superfine, the finish is smooth.

Howling Bluff Estate Pinot Noir 'Summa Quies Vineyard', Naramata Bench BC, 2008
Readers rated this wine:
An earthy Pinot Noir (more old world than new) that launches with aromas of rhubarb, sous bois (forest floor) and tart red berries with beet greens and roasted coffee beans. It is very smooth on the entry, similar coffee and tart red fruits cross the palate; it is light-bodied with fine, firm tannins and a long, warm and slightly bitter finish.
