Inniskillin Riesling Icewine, Okanagan BC, 2006
Readers rated this wine:
A lush treat of honeyed apricots and Earl Grey tea aromas rich and slick on the palate with dried apricots, candied citrus peel and creamy ginger. A lovely bright crispness on the finish balances this well-made liquid confection.
Serve with lemon-curd pavlovas or strong cheese.

Inniskillin Vidal Icewine Commemorative Edition, Niagara On, 2006
Readers rated this wine:
A light golden coloured liquid with apricots in honey, quince, orange blossoms and Earl Grey tea aromas. Smooth and sweet on the palate, a slick weight with great acidity to balance the sweetness. Vibrant citrus zest on the tail end with a mouth-watering finish and substantial linger.
A good gift idea for those with 2010 fever - partial proceeds from each bottle sold go to support the Canadian Olympic team and the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

Inniskillin Vidal Icewine, Okanagan BC, 2004
Readers rated this wine:
Vidal is much more recognizable in Ontario where it's more prominent. In BC its far more rare but certainly a very nice alternative to Riesling. The Vidal grape is a hybrid with rather neutral flavours but it responds well to becoming late harvest and Icewine. The Inniskillin Vidal has delicate woodsy aromas with sweet herbs, exotic blood orange and vanilla. In the mouth is has a soft texture, sweet but crisp with a warm baked spiced apple finish. Chocolate: Spiced chocolate, sweet ganache filled truffles and Purdy's Hedgehogs. Cheese: Yes!
