Inniskillin Dark Horse Vineyard Chardonnay, Okanagan BC, 2004
Readers rated this wine:
Vibrant aromas of orchard fruits-apples and pears, melon and tangerine supported with spices and vanilla caramels. Softly rounded on the palate with deftly handled oak flavours and warm spices on the finish.
A nice balance of fresh and fruity vs. creamy oak.

Inniskillin Dark Horse Vineyard Meritage, Okanagan BC, 2005
Readers rated this wine:
The DHV Meritage is oozing aromas of black cherries, dried plums and mint chocolate. On the palate it is smooth, full-bodied and seductive, with ripe dark fruit, cocoa and tobacco with a sweep of vanillin oak on the finish. Nicely integrated flavours and texture with a nice dose of fresh acidity.
A blend of 52% Merlot, 20% each Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon and 8% Petit Verdot.

Inniskillin Dark Horse Vineyard Meritage, Okanagan Valley, BC 2006
Readers rated this wine:
Rich dark fruit and peppery spice aromas with tobacco, earth and fresh wild herbs. The palate although almost brooding, gives up sweet fruit with earth, tobacco and dark cocoa flavours. The texture is powdery, it has impressive power and structure with a nice balance of fruit and acidity.

Inniskillin Discovery Series Malbec, Okanagan Valley BC, 2007
Readers rated this wine:
Surprise! Not all Malbec is made in Argentina - Inniskillin Okanagan winemaker Sandor Mayer does wonders with this grape variety as well...
Expect rich aromas berries and dried cherries, chocolate and licorice with a hint of crushed dark flowers. The palate is dense and concentrated with dark fruit and a savoury mouthful of roasted meat and herbs, cocoa and espresso. Expect nicely balanced acidity and powdery tannins with fine spice lingering on the finish.
Malbec is made for grilled meat or dense pastas.

Inniskillin Discovery Series Marsanne Rousanne,Okanagan BC, 2006
Readers rated this wine:
Do you want the good news or the bad news first?
Okay, the good news is this, when you review wine all the time you look for the "wow" wines. Somthing new, interesting and delish, like this one. Marsanne & Rousanne are classic to the Rhone and South of France where they produce powerful, baked fruit, floral and minerally wines that age extremely well. But the Inniskillin version impresses me with its freshness and delicateness.
The bad news is the very, very limited 78 cases available at the winery only--sigh.
Alas, sweet spiced pear and honeysuckle aromas with a backbone of smoke and minerality. Crisp on the entry with fresh quince, lush citrus and cinnamon spice, softly rounded on the mid-palate and lingering on the finish with smoke, vanilla and zest.
Bravo!
