More than five, less than a dozen? It is said that a rare mix of 9 aromatic rarities and well-known varieties like Chardonnay and Pinot Gris, Sylaner and Muller-Thurgau...are contained within. Whatever it is, it is always delicious - especially paired with spicy lentil fritters and chickpea curry. It calls labels itself an American White Wine - which means grapes could come not only from Sokol~Blosser's home state of Oregon, but also Washington and California I suppose.
The 13th edition of Evolution is an aromatic bouquet of perfectly ripe peach nectar, citrus and fragrant blossoms. Luscious but lively on the palate - creamy fruit, snappy citrus and a hint of spice and caramel. Perfectly woven and bang-on balance.

The number 7 is the last vintage of the Meditrina you'll see - there is a new sibling to the popular white blend -Evolution, a Syrah-based proprietary blend also called, Evolution.
This tasty wine is swimming with sweet sunwarmed berries, mocha, dried cherries and violets with a good dose of toffee. It's generous on the palate with loads of fruit - basically it tastes like it smells. The tannins are powdery, the finish trails burnt sugar and mocha.

Named for the Roman Goddess of wine, the sixth {6} edition of this red Meditrina blend is a well-knit amalgamation of juicy purple fruit, red summer berries, sweet spice and crushed violets underscored by cocoa and an earthy minerality. Approachable on the palate with lovely acidity to brighten and spicy cocoa flavours lingering across the finish.
Nice paired with spaghetti and spicy tomato sauce, with or without chorizo or meatballs.

Pass me the glass!
The Villa Maria Riesling is bracingly crisp and mouth-watering! Juicy lemon and white grapefruit, lime oil, blossoms and clean minerally aromas. On the palate more vibrant citrus, white peach and a zippy, lingering finish.
Shellfish, fries with lemon aioli dip or count me in for a chunk of creamy cheese.
