Flat Roof Manor Pinot Grigio, Stellenbosch South Africa, 2010
Readers rated this wine:
This is a very approachable and nicely priced Grigio brimming with white fruit and floral notes, clementine oranges, and some faint spice notes. Pleasing to the palate, an easy sipping, fruity style with lively acidity to keep your mouth watering. Pair with spicy chilled noodle salads or just quaffing on the patio.

Flat Roof Manor Pinot Grigio, Western Cape South Africa, 2011
Readers rated this wine:
Nice value! On the nose, you can expect apple and melon aromas, zesty citrus, mineral and marzipan. The palate is creamy and leads with tart grapefruity flavours fleshed out with hints of spiced toffee. It's a straightforward and crowd-pleasing white for a party or for pairing with white meats, almond crusted halibut or appetizers.

Grand Marnier NAVAN Vanilla Cognac
Readers rated this wine:
I am stupidly in love with this stuff. Thank goodness I can only drink a shot on ice in one sitting or the bottle would be gone. Perhaps its the pure essence of Madagascar vanilla in a sweet cognac base that appeals but I wouldn't turn down the Grand Marnier Cuvee Louis-Alexandre scented with exotic oranges either. Straight-up on ice is usually good for me but the range of martinis you can mix it up with will get your creative juices flowing. My favorite concoction is 1/2 oz. of Navan and 1/2 oz of raspberry liquer topped with Champagne and a single raspberry lolling about in the flute. Christmas option - add an ounze of Navan to your eggnog! ©copyright 2007 Daenna Van Mulligen
