Rigamarole 'Red', Okanagan BC, 2005
Readers rated this wine:
The Rigamarole Red label asks..."Why is it such a RIGAMAROLE to find such a great drinking red?" Answer..."It isn't if you read Wine Diva regularly!" But I like their tongue-in-cheekiness and quirky labels. A dusty red colour with spiced aromas and flavours to match-cherry, white pepper, cocoa, earth, rhubarb, lether and a hint of meatiness on the nose. Medium bodied and quite smooth on the palate showing dried cherry and spice and a bit of acidity followed with a dusty finish. ©copyright 2007 Daenna Van Mulligen

Yellowglen "Pink", Australia, NV
Readers rated this wine:
A perfectly pink colour with aromas of sweet candied strawberries, mixed berry, tree fruit and floral notes and candied citrus peel. It is fun, bright and sweetly bubbly, off-dry and easy to drink at a very affordable price! This year I sampled a 200ml mini bottle with a screwcap. Adorable as it was (I am not sure if this was a special promotion)this size does not seem to be available. Plus, the screwcap was immovable and I had to use a wine crank to break a hole in the lid. Stick to the 750ml bottle with the plastic cork - at least if you cannot get it out you can saber the bottle...

Rigamarole 'White', Okanagan BC, 2006

The label asks..."Why is it such a RIGAMAROLE to find such a great dry white?" Answer..."It isn't if you read Wine Diva regularly!" But I like their tongue-in-cheekiness and the wine is a fine sipper as well.
