Galil Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon, Galilee Israel, 2006
Readers rated this wine:
This is just one of a new portfolio of wines that recently arrived from Israel. The Galil Mountain wines are made in a modern fruit-forward style and the labels are contemporary and attractive. The Cabernet has up-front black currant and raspberry with earthy notes and spiced tobacco. Medium-full bodied and smooth with a solid backbone and manageable tannins. Kosher, vegan and simply tasty! ©copyright 2008 Daenna Van Mulligen

Galil Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon, Galilee, Israel, 2010
Readers rated this wine:
This tasty Kosher Cabernet comes from the higher altitude northern Galilee viticultural region. It's a fragrant wine, leading with sweet cassis, vanilla and baking spice atop fresh mint and earthier undertones. The palate follows suit offering blueberry and cassis mixed with savoury flavours and spice. It is fresh with a smooth wight and persistent finish.

Galil Mountain Viognier, Galilee Israel, 2010
Readers rated this wine:
Galil Mountain makes Kosher wines and they are located in the higher elevations of the Galilee viticultural area. The Viognier offers aromas of toasted nuts, grilled peaches and toasted spices layered with citrus peel. The palate echoes those notes with brown spice, exotic citrus and toasted oak flavours. It is weighty with an oily texture and burnt orange and spice flavours trailing across the finish. Pair with creamy and subtly spicy dishes.

Golan Heights Winery 'Yarden Mount Hermon Red', Galilee Israel, 2009
Readers rated this wine:
A multi-variety kosher blend, the Mount Hermon Red comes from vineyards in the Golan Heights. It is a very approachable wine with generous fruit. Expect juicy, sweet fruit aromas - cherry, raspberry and blueberry layered with vanilla and mocha, crushed flowers and spicebox. The palate is supple and fresh with similar summer berries, chocolate mocha and fine spice flavours in the mouth. Nicely balanced and very crowd friendly.
