Bittersweet chocolate, blackberries and mixed brown spices, toasted oak and roasted coffee lashed with dried herbs and meaty undertones.
The palate follows suit - it's medium-full bodied and fresh savoury and toasted with a smooth finish.

I have to admire the packaging on the bottle, it reads like a turn-of-the-century poster (19th to 20th century that is) "Each glass will transport you to a magical place..."
This wine is savoury - grilling meats and smoked jalapeno, dark plums and chocolate with some underlying floral notes. The palate follows suit with spice, char grilling and loads of pepper with bittersweet cocoa.
Perfect for grilled beef or hearty stews.

"Tastes, Sounds and Sights of the La Capra Festival - Each glass will transport you to a magical place where the wine flows freely, laughter fills the air and you dance until the sunrise."

Well, I'd like to be transported to that place, but when tasting this wine, I think you'll be transported to the closest barbecue.
It's a wine meant for grilled foods and it offers sweet and spicy aromas of cherries, plums and blackberry layered with pepper, smoke and dried herbs, sweet spices, chocolate and coffee. The palate is an echo of its aromas with plenty of dark fruit and peppery spices followed up with a bittersweet cocoa finish. Approachable with balanced acidity to keep it lively.
