Terre di San Venanzio Fortunato Prosecco Superiore DOCG Valdobbiadene, Veneto Italy, 2010
Readers rated this wine:

Here's a new extra dry sparkling from the prestigious DOCG Prosecco, which is made from the grape variety Glera. In the sparkling world, extra dry does not mean bone dry - it is a bit sweeter than the common brut.

It will tease you with sweet bright fruit - apples, peaches and pears, frangipani blossoms, lively citrus, leesy notes and honey. The fine spumante bubbles with tickle your palate. It has a floral talc character in the mouth and zesty pomelo citrus flavours.
It's a vibrant style, with nice complexity for a Prosecco.
I dream of olives, cheese, pickled artichokes and fresh Italian bread - a perfect partner for Prosecco...
