Riesling is a love of winemaker Roger Wong and a variety he feels is best suited to the Okanagan Valley. The 2011 vintage does not disappoint (like previous vintages) and pops out of the glass with notes of green apples, apricots and honey, lemon drops, chamomile and spring blossoms. Expect lovely concentration or "focus" in the mouth. It is tangy and crisp with clean flavours of lemon, lime, apricots and honey. The finish is long and mouthwatering.
A wine for holiday ham or turkey, coconut curry, Moroccan cuisine or sushi.

It's been a long wait - but I'm glad to see the return of Focus!
Gray Monk winemaker and co-owner of Intrigue Wines Roger Wong, produced the one-off Focus Riesling under a crown cap in the early 2000s. He's back at it and this is the first vintage in many years. "One region. One varietal" is what Wong believes, and for him Riesling it that one varietal.
Apricots, mineral, lemony citrus and a hint of white pepper on the nose translates to a snappy, mouth-watering palate laden with green apple, apricot and honey. There is a pleasing, creamy roundnes in the mouth and a lip-smacking finish.

Ten or "10" is the vintage specific name for Intrigue's proprietary white blend in 2010.
Made from Riesling, Gewurztraminer and a touch of Muscat Canelli, this fragrant wine offers aromas of honey blossoms, sweet apple cider, lychee, vibrant citrus, peach and grapey aromas. The palate follows suit - nicely weighted with honey and fruitcup flavours of apple, pear and peach. The sweetness on the palate is cleaned up with a snappy, mouth-watering finish.

11 stands for the vintage in which it was created, thus it is a 2011 white blend.
This year it's a blend of Riesling, Gewurztraminer and Muscat Canelli and it releases notes of tropical fruit and stone fruits, sweet and exotic spices, honey and fragrant floral aromas. It has impressive power on the palate, which is underscored by an oily texture. The sweetness in the mouth is wonderfully balanced with lively acidity. Flavours of anise and pomelo citrus trail across the finish. Complexity and intrigue at a very attractive price!
Recommended pairings: turkey sliders, crab cakes, spicy coconut curries.

This is a very ripe Gewurztraminer, which offers guava and orangeblossom aromas, tropicl fruits, honey, ginger and a musky, slightly mushroomy core. It has a rich oily weight and sweet tropical fruit and spice in the mouth - there is nice acidity to clease the palate and a long, zesty and spiced finish.
