Sandra Oldfield's Syrah is quickly becoming my favourite of the Tinhorn Creek lineup. Expect aromas of black raspberries, vanilla, cola spices, white pepper and violets - its fragrant and feminine. The palate is fresh and smooth - it's an elegant wine with juicy berry flavours, exotic spices, coffee and floral hints, which trail across the finish. A chic wine with good length.
Recommended pairings: BBQ ribs, smoked pork chops, grilled prime beef and aged goat's cheese

In classic Rhone-style, this Syrah is peppery - but there is also plenty of blackberry and spiced cocoa with hints of leather and earthy tones. Fresh dark berries and black cherries lead the palate, with leather, peppery spice and dark roasted coffee. More pepper and dry, powdery tannins linger on the finish.

This Rhone-style Syrah is made from grapes grown in the Tinhorn Creek vineyard, (adjacent to the winery on the Golden Mile Bench) and the Diamondback vineyard located on the sandy Black Sage Bench to the east. Expect black cherry and blackberries, dark cocoa and white pepper with hints of dried savoury herbs, smoked meat and leather. It is an elegant style, medium to full on the palate with supple dark fruit, coffee, cocoa, tobacco and peppery spice flavours.
Bravo!

This premium level Tinhorn Creek Merlot is 93% Merlot with 6% Cabernet Franc and 1% Syrah from the Diamondback and Tinhorn Creek South Okanagan vineyards. It presents a combination of smoked/savoury aromas with black cherries and plums, herbs, leather and cracked pepper. It has bright cherry/berry fruit flavours on the entry followed by espresso, chocolate and spice. Well balanced with lively acidity and youthful, ripe tannins on the finish.
Tinhorn Creek suggests pairing this wine with grilled steak or hearty stews.

Plummy, juicy berries and chocolaty notes .It's smooth and earthy with peppery spice, vanilla, coffee and fine, dusty cocoa tannins on the finish.
It pairs particularly well with creamy mushroom Wellington and hard cheeses.
