In this bottle you have a wine that's been aged without taking up space in your own cellar. It shows age in its rustic aromas of maraschino cherry, saddle leather, iodine and spicebox and again on the palate with its silky, red fruity flavours, leather and fine spice. It has nice juicy acidity and not unpleasant hints of bitter/char flavours on the finish. Pair with stewed meats, roasted tomato-based dishes or hard cheeses.

This 1999 vintage has just arrived (suitably aged) and shows some great character of time in its glorious aromas of saddle leather, balsamic, strawberries and currents, cedar and cocoa with a hint of garrigue/wild herbs. It is medium-full bodied on the palate, flavours of spicy red berries, leather, tobacco and cocoa linger. Very nice finesse and old world charm in every sip...
Pair with stewed meats, roasted tomato-based dishes or hard cheeses.

I love this traditional bottle that looks so simple yet delivers the goods... This is a vibrant Tempranillo with aromas of red cherries, iodine and earth with coffee liqueur, saddle leather and strawberries. Juicy, is the best way to describe the palate, the flavours echo the aromas - red fruit, spice and cedar box. It is medium-bodied and bright with fine mouth-coating tannins and is delicate enough to pair with grilled fish or tomato based dishes.

Very attractive notes of sweet cedar, cherries, warm spice, vanilla and rose petals with hnts of dried herbs, dried fruit and licorice root. It has a seductive texture with powdery tannins sliding across the palate and bright acidity to liven it up. Flavours of sweet cherries, cocoa, tobacco and spicebox echo the aromas.
Very charming and suitable to pair with lamb, white meats, mild cheeses or tomato based sauces.

Made from 90% Tempranillo and 10% Graciano from estate only vines planted in 1958 and the wine rests in oak barrels for at least three years before being bottled.
This is a wine that is starting to showing its age - dried fruits and leather, strawberries and red cherry, dried flowers and iodine with spice and cigar tobacco. The palate is rustic - it offers lively acidity, bittersweet cocoa, toasted spice and tobacco leaf. A medium-bodied wine with a long, mouth-watering finish.
