Le Vieux Pin 'Belle' Pinot Noir, Okanagan Valley BC, 2006
Readers rated this wine:
This titled 'pretty' Pinot Noir from Le Vieux Pin releases savoury, rustic notes of cherries and sadlle leather, sunbaked earth and cigarbox with undertones of forest floor and fine spice. the palate is silky, the flavours echo the aromas - leather and cherries, cedar and spice. It's a concentrated Pinot with fairly dominant tannins on the finish. Old world in style but very masculine. ©copyright 2009 Daenna Van Mulligen

Le Vieux Pin 'Emoi' Pinot Noir, Okanagan Valley BC, 2006
Readers rated this wine:
This is a heady Pinot Noir with aromas of spiced cherries, sweet cedar box and loads of violets. The entry is silky but it's surprisingly assertive on the palate showing red fruit and a potpourri of cedar chips and dried floral flavours. It has lots of acidity and aggressive tannins that need to soften. I suggest cellaring for a couple of years or decanting at least an hour prior to serving. ©copyright 2009 Daenna Van Mulligen

Le Vieux Pin 'Vaila' Rose Okanagan Valley BC, 2008
Readers rated this wine:
Made from 100% Pinot Noir this pretty rose has been a food-friendly summer offering at my favourite local Indian restaurant, Vij's, over the past couple of vintages. Typical to Pinot Noir, the aromas are earthy - forest floor and leather with wild berry aromas. There is a lot of structure on the palate with flavours echoing the aromas - berry and leather with cedar box spice flavours that linger. Pair with mild curries or pasta with creamy morel sauce.

Le Vieux Pin Apogee Merlot, Okanagan Valley BC, 2006
Readers rated this wine:
Expect a dense Merlot with plush aromas of blackberry and raspberry, crushed dark flowers and spiced chocolate with earthy undertones and a pinch of white pepper. The palate is potent, laden with flavours of spiced cherries and chocolate. The tannins are encompassing but fine, and they linger long after you've put your glass down. ©copyright 2009 Daenna Van Mulligen

Le Vieux Pin Gewurztraminer, Okanagan Valley BC, 2008
Readers rated this wine:
This was my first ever taste of the Le Vieux Pin Gewurztraminer, and it's delicious. Fragrant with lychee, tangerine and licorice aromas, which are echoed on the palate alongside flavours of tropical fruits and exotic spice with a hint of white pepper on the finish. It's off-dry with very good concentration and mouth-watering acidity. Pair with Thai chili noodle salad in the summer. ©copyright 2009 Daenna Van Mulligen

Petit Le Vieux Pin "Blanc", Okanagan Valley BC, 2008
Readers rated this wine:
An aromatic amalgamation of Viognier, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Gewurztraminer and Chardonnay this new, little sister label to Le Viuex Pin will whet your whistle. A verdant and vibrant wine with plenty of grass clippings dried sage and pomelo zest aromas it also has passionfruit hints with plenty of smoke and flinty notes. Snappy green apple on the palate, grapefruit pith, mineral and marzipan flavours. It is a very unique and complex wine but mostly it's zesty and refreshing. Pair with crisp salads, shellfish and deep fried bites... ©copyright 2009 Daenna Van Mulligen
