A robust wine, full bodied and earthy with blackberry, plum and sausage aromas as well as notes of cocoa, leather pepper and savoury herbs. Intense and opaque it has bright berries and dark fruit swirled with bitter chocolate, more spice and pepper and meaty char-grill flavours, good acidity and still youthful, chewy tannins.
A wine for protein based dishes, decant before serving or cellar for 2-5 more years.

Gorgeous, vibrant aromas jump out of the glass. Ripe Bosc pear and golden pineapple, vanilla caramels, citrus and tropical floral notes. Crisp yet soft and lush on the palate with sweet melon and pear, butterscotch, pineapple and spiced vanilla.

The 2006 Q2 is rich golden-yellow in colour with ripe tropical notes - creamy pineapple, toasted nut brittle and melon with lemony hints. Layered and assertive on the palate with smooth oak, pineapple and pear fruit and toasty spices on the finish.

Love the easy access screw-cap closure!
A brilliant yellow colour with sweet pear and apple aromas and undertones of tropical fruit, vanilla and butterscotch. Fresh on the palate with crisp flavours of citrus and white fruit surrounded by spiced vanillin oak. Warm and rounded with mouth-watering acidity and a terrific balance of fruit and oak.
5% Pinot Blanc blended in.

Good value!
Sinfully appealing aromas - smells like biting into a caramel apple. But you can't dismiss the juicy pineapple, creamy pear, honey and vanilla spiked with sweet spices....The palate is loaded with toasted spices, pineapple and grilled lemon halves - minerality and more spices provide the missing link. Very drinkable, fresh with a soft round palate and bright acidity.

A dark cherry-hued Merlot with clean aromas of red cherries and berries, warm spices, fresh herbs and chocolate. Pure flavours with a bright fruit intensity and layers of sweet toasty spice and leather. Smooth and elegant with soft tannins. Drinking nicely now.

Extravagantly perfumed with peach nectar, white blossoms, a hint of melon and juicy citrus. Vibrant acidity on the palate with flavours of spiced honeydew melon, lime juice, a suggestion of herbs and a pinch of nutmeg. The texture is smooth and it has a lovely weight.
About 10% Chardonnay has been added to the Pinot Blanc is this tasty combo.

Lovely red berry and dark cherry fruit aromas with cedary notes, toast and vanilla. Youthful and fresh - smooth on the palate with solid fruit, spice and leather, supple tannins and lingering finish. Always a tasty, reliable Pinot from a wonderful South Okanagan winery.

The Nk'Mip (pronounce Inkameep please) Pinot Noir leans toward a savoury BC style with plenty of sage-y herbal notes, sour cherry, cedarbox, spice and leather. The texture is smooth, it slides onto your palate, it's fine-boned and light-bodied with red fruit and woodsy flavours.

Rich, warm and earthy - smokey plum and black cherry aromas with sweet allspice and Bourbon vanilla notes. The sweet dark fruit continues on the palate - silky on the tongue with vanilla, spice and leather-y flavours. Supple tannins on the finish with lingering choco-coffee flavours.

Another great vintage for Nk'Mip's Q2 Pinot Noir.
Fragrant with crushed dark floral and juicy cherry aromas, raspberries and vanilla, cedar box and fine spice. The palate is supple, laden with sweet red berries and cherries, pepper and savoury hints follow and then flavours of espresso bean and spice linger. A well made, fine grained wine with a smooth finish.

Nk'Mip has been producing some of Wine Diva's favorite BC wines in their rather youthful (but prestigious) life. The Qwam Qwmt (aka Q2 in case you cannot pronounce it) label is Nk'Mip's top tier and winemaker Randy Picton chooses only the best for the Q2 series. The Q2 Riesling Icewine is one of the most elegant I've tasted. Oodles of apricot and roasted apples, hints of classic riesling petrol aromas and beautiful lifted kumquat citrus. Yellow hued with golden glints it's crisp, not too sweet on the tongue with a long clean finish. Chocolate: This Icewine loved the spiced chocolate I sampled with it, as well as the sweet ganache filled truffles and Purdy's Hedgehogs. Cheese: Yes!

Balancing consumer demand for fruit, with style and focus in a bottle seems to be Nk'Mip's forte. The aromas display spiced plums, black cherries, fragrant floral and savoury notes, roasted coffee beans and cocoa. It's fresh and direct on the palate, the flavours echo the aromas, the tannins are integrated and spice lingers lovingly on the finish.
The great acidity and integrated tannins make this wine delicious with classic cheese fondue
