Marotti Campi 'Luzano' Verdicchio Dei Castelli Di Jesi DOC, Marche Italy, 2008
Readers rated this wine:
A fantastic, exotic version of Verdicchio the Luzano features ripe, honeyed aromas - stone fruits and melon with hints of sweet herbs and creamy lemon. The palate is rich, weighty and quite luscious with plenty of orchard fruit and honeycomb flavours, bright citrus, mineral and almond with fine spice lingering on the finish. Very nice complexity and intensity, this is a wine that will pair well with seafod, but also with mildly spicy Asian dishes.
